Lavish Apt+Downtown+Stockyards

The positives are that this a good location with bars/restaurants nearby and easily accessible from downtown and nearby sites.Also the host is responsive when I shared some issues in the unit. Unfortunately the building is in bad shape… filthy floors/elevator, marijuana smell 24/7. The entry system wasn’t working properly when we got there so we were stuck outside in 100 heat. The street parking is annoying, especially when there is an practically empty onsite parking garage and neighboring lot. Inside the unit, there was still a pile of dirty sheets in the closet (mentioned by the previous guest’s review and apparently still not cleaned). This made me question how thoroughly the place is cleaned between guests. This place has a lot of potential but needs attention from the owner/manager and doesn’t feel at the level for the price being charged. I’m sorry Mynt. :(

First, there is no dedicated parking that guests have access to...street parking only...in downtown Ft. Worth. Next, the dishwasher was complaining about the completed load of dishes from the previous guests. This was annoying because the property did not seem "ready" for occupancy. Then, there was the nasty soccer jersey in the closet under the extra (I assume unwashed, due to the dirty shirt and fact that they were just wadded on the shelf) sheets for the sofa or blow up mattress. Convenient location, though. Just not a great value due to the previous items.
